Karen Ball

Karen Ball joined the Air Therm team on September 18, 1980. For the next twenty years she worked side by side with her husband, and founder, Dwain Ball, to help enhance the growing corporation. Her primary duties over the years have included Accounting Manager, Office Manager, Service Manager and, today, President. After Dwain’s passing in 2000, Karen continued to implement his company vision, relying on her superior supporting cast of office executives.

Today, Karen oversees the day to day operations of the business and strives to maintain growth. She is dedicated to honoring the tradition that Air Therm truly is a family at its core.

Karen has one daughter and two sons. She enjoys sports (particularly her beloved New Orleans Saints), knitting, reading and spending time with her children.

Sam Goodman

Sam Goodman joined the Air Therm team on August 5, 1972, making him our longest tenured employee. He began his career in the duct installation department and, over the years, advanced to Construction Supervisor, Commercial Estimator and Senior Vice President. Sam oversees the day to day operations of the construction department and its employees. His dedication to Air Therm, along with his honesty and integrity, make him an integral part of who we are and what we stand for as a company.

Sam is married, has four children and his greatest pride are his grandchildren. He enjoys woodworking, fishing and spending time with his family.

Gary Smith

Gary Smith joined the Air Therm team in 1989, bringing 16 years of experience in the HVAC industry. Prior to his employment with Air Therm, he worked as a service technician in both commercial and residential applications. Gary attended HVAC Technical School and currently holds a State of Georgia Non-Restricted HVAC license.

Since he started at Air Therm, Gary has worn many hats; he has served as the service manager, piping and construction manager, worked in commercial sales, controls, and as project estimator. Gary is currently our Piping/Construction Manager, Chief Estimator and one of our two Project Manager’s. Gary also assists in managing the day to day operations of Air Therm and in 2008, became a Vice President of the Corporation.

Gary takes the business to heart and strives to bring the staff together as the best HVAC team in the area.

Gary is married and enjoys hunting, fishing and farming.

Chris Rahn

Chris Rahn joined the Air Therm team in April, 1993. He brought 14 years experience in the HVAC business which began straight out of high school in 1979. Chris’ career started with installing duct work and equipment and gradually he worked his way up to running refrigerant lines, drains and low voltage wiring.

At Air Therm he served as a technician for eight years, advancing to top technician, and was promoted to Service Manager in April, 2001. Chris manages hundreds of maintenance contracts for our commercial and residential customers. He also dispatches and manages our service technicians and provides service, installation and replacement quotes. If assistance is needed in the field, he is available to assist our technicians.

As our logo says, “Service is our most important product since 1969”.

Chris is married and has 2 sons. Chris enjoys sports,(including coaching his son's sports teams), fishing, singing/recording in his church's choir, and spending time with his family.

Deen Hart

Deen Hart, Office Manager, joined the Air Therm team in the spring of 2000. Deen brought with her an extensive background in customer service having retired from American Isuzu Motors after 12 years, first as a secretary and then as a customer service representative. She also worked in Houston for 8 years as a customer service representative for an oil field service company.

Deen answers the telephone, as the first point of contact representing Air Therm, and handles the day to day office administration. She is also an integral extension of the service department, assisting with service technician dispatch and entering service calls.

Deen is married, has 2 sons and 2 grandchildren. She enjoys traveling, reading, cooking and spending time with her family.

Jacque Nesbit

Jacque Nesbit joined the Air Therm team as Accounting Manager in the spring of 2007. Ms. Nesbit brought with her over twenty years of experience in management, accounting, sales, and customer service. Her extensive experience in business management, having co-owned a manufacturing company, has served her well at Air Therm.

She is responsible for all functions relating to Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, and Payroll and reports directly to the owner.

Jacque is married and has 2 sons and 1 daughter. Jacque enjoys traveling, reading, sports, and spending time with her family.
